Permanent Eyeliner Treatment in Edmonton

Define your eyes with precision and ease. Our permanent eyeliner treatment enhances your lash line, offering a smudge-proof, long-lasting solution that complements your natural beauty.

What Sets a Professional Eyeliner Tattoo Apart

A proper eyeliner tattoo is not a one-size-fits-all line—it is a tailored design that complements your eye shape, lash density, and lifestyle. At Jenny’s Cosmetic Academy, each treatment is mapped to enhance definition while staying soft, balanced, and long-lasting.

Whether you want subtle lash-line shading or a more defined wing, the shape, pigment depth, and placement are fully customized. Using machine precision, pigment is layered gradually to avoid skin trauma and ensure clean retention as it heals.

The results are smudge-proof, waterproof, and designed to last up to five years, with touchups recommended every two. No more daily liner. No more running makeup. Just consistent definition that holds its shape day after day.

Why Clients Choose Tattooed Eyeliner Over Makeup

Permanent eyeliner creates lasting definition that holds its shape day after day. Clients choose this treatment to eliminate the need for daily application, reduce makeup breakdown, and maintain a clean, consistent look regardless of skin type or routine.

Smudge-Free Definition

The liner stays sharp through heat, sweat, and skincare. No smudging or fading throughout the day.

Tailored Design

Each application is mapped to your natural eye shape and lash line to ensure symmetry and balance.

Multi-Year Retention

Results can last up to five years. A touchup every two years is recommended to maintain colour intensity and edge clarity.

Questions About Cheek Blush?

If you’re considering getting a service done or have already scheduled an appointment, it’s essential to know what to expect after the procedure. I will walk you through everything you need to know about the recovery process, the do’s and don’ts, potential side effects, and much more.

The permanent eyeliner is a 2-session treatment. The first session does most of the work, but a touch up 4-6 weeks later is highly recommended. As your skin heals from the initial session, a certain amount of pigment is extracted and the eyeliner lighten 20-30%

The touch- up is there to add more pigment or darken them up if needed to ensure the results last longer.

  • No skincare product containing retinal, AHA, vitamins A, C and E agents for 1-2 weeks before treatment
  • No Botox or filler for a month
  • No eyelash grow serum. Eyelash growth serums like Latisse bring extra circulation to the area which results in more growth of hair/lashes and can cause the skin in that area to by hypersensitive and bleed easily
  • No tanning (bed or natural sun exposure) for 2 weeks
  • No intense facial treatments such as chemical peels, microdermabrasions and micro needling ect. This will cause skin cell to rejuvenate faster resulting in skin irritation.
  • No lash extensions, lash perm or dye for 2 weeks
  • No blood thinners 3-4 days prior to procedure

Before your first session, your artist may do a patch test on your skin to make sure you’re not allergic to the pigment ink.

You’ll start by discussing eyeliner tattoo style, and colour with your artist. Then she will clean the area with an with an eye-approved antibacterial and then apply a numbing cream to help reduce discomfort. Then micro-droplets of colored pigments are inserted between your lashes and under the skin with a machine to create from lash enhancement to dramatic eyeliner style that suits you best.

After the initial session, you’ll return for a follow-up session in about 4-6 weeks at which the artist will perfect the look. She might add in some thickness and readjust colour. This is known as the touch-up to perfect the session.

Semi Permanent eyeliner is a permanent makeup technique that gives you the look of  wearing eyeliner by implanting pigment into your eyelid skin. The eyeliner lasts somewhere from I to 3 years on average, but it can last up to 5 years or longer it you get a touch-up every 2 years.

Most clients say little or no pain. If you have highly sensitive skin, a strong topical anesthetic during the procedure to keep you comfortable.

During your 2nd session, I will go over your tattooed eyeliner that I had applied during your 1st session to deposit more ink to extend the longevity. Additional thickness and colour may also be added if you want wish.

For all PMU procedures, it will take 2 sessions to complete your desired brows to ensure longevity. Just like when you apply nail polish, you need least 2-3 coats to achieve a solid color.

You can book your 2nd session 4 to 6 weeks after your 1st session.

Please note: If you decide to come back for a second session after 12 weeks of your initial session, this could result in faded freckles which may result in additional charges due to extra work that may be needed. It is highly recommended to schedule your 2nd session appointment within 2 months to avoid extra charges.

After my 2nd Session, When Will I Need Another Touch up?

If you want to keep your permanent eyeliner maintained, it is recommended to get a touch up every 2-3 months from your last session.

If you wish not get a touch-up, your eyeliner will last up to 3 years and they will eventually fade away. Longevity will vary per lifestyle, skin type and age. Eyeliner tattoo touch-ups are like getting your nail touch-ups, if you go when your tattooed eyeliner first starts fading, you simply have the color filled in. But if you wait longer than your artist recommends, you may need to start the whole a PMU eyeliner procedure again.
